Ingredients
2 cups ground almonds
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 cup chocolate spread
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Line a heart shaped pan with parchment, and set aside
Mix together all ingredients except chocolate spread in a mixing bowl
Transfer the dough to the prepared pan, and spread the dough out evenly, pressing down until the dough covers the bottom of the pan
Bake 12 minutes in the centre of the oven
Leave to cool and cover the top with the chocolate spread
Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds
