50g Granulated Sugar (low-calorie)
300g Plain White Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
Put all of your ingredients into a large mixing bowI and beat well until smooth. If you find that the mixture is too soft, pop it in the fridge to let it chill for half an hour or so.
Flour a work surface then roll out the mixture to approximately 1 cm thick. Then cut the mixture into stars or any other festive shape.
Lay the biscuits out on a biscuit tray, making sure you add a hole at the top of each to feed the ribbon through and attached to the tree.
Bake the biscuits in a pre-heated oven at 190°C (fan 170°C, gas mark 5) for 10-13 minutes until lightly brown then allow them to cool completely before decorating.
