Spirited Away - Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to any promotion, prize draw or competition (a “Promotion”) administered and operated by Lifetime Brands Europe Ltd. (“us”, “our”, “we”) under the names BarCraft and KitchenCraft.

1.  ELIGIBILITY

In order to make a valid entry to this Promotion you must be of legal drinking age or above (18 years plus). Proof of eligibility will be requested. Promotions are void wherever they are prohibited or restricted. Employees of Lifetime Brands Europe. Ltd., their families, agents and anyone else connected with a Promotion are not eligible to win. All national and local laws and regulations apply. 

 2.  PROMOTION DETAILS

  • The Closing Date is 20-12-17 for entry. If no Time is specified, then the Promotion shall close at 23.59.59 on the Closing Date;
  • The method of entry (“Entry Instructions”) are detailed on the entry leaflet / post.
  • There is one prize available for the winner and a guest of their choice.
  • The method of selecting the winner is a random selection.

 3.  PROMOTION ENTRY

3.1  Entry must be in accordance with the Entry Instructions. Each entrant may only enter a Promotion once. Any entries which are not received by the Closing Date or which are not received in accordance with the Entry Instructions will not be eligible for participation.

3.2  Entries that are not received due to technical malfunction will not be eligible. Use of an automated system (i.e. Macros, robots and the like) to submit multiple entries is prohibited, and any attempt to use automated systems for entry will void that entrant’s eligibility to receive a prize.

3.3  No stock / purchased photography may be submitted.

3.4  The entrant may only submit an image taken by themselves and allows Lifetime Brands Europe Ltd. to repost or retweet this image in reference only with this competition.

4.  WINNER SELECTION

4.1  The Winner is to be selected at Random from all eligible entries as soon as is practical after the Closing Date. The draw will be performed by an independent supervised individual as soon as is practical after the closing date.

4.2 The winner will be contacted via a direct message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. All Competition Winners will be required to provide photographic proof of identification for themselves and their chosen guest as proof of age before the confirmation details of their prize will be dispatched. The promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners, should the original winner not be contactable following reasonable efforts or if the original winner fails to provide satisfactory proof of age.

5.  PRIZES

5.1  Unless otherwise stated, all Prizes will be sent out within 28 days of the Closing Date. Winner shall be responsible for the payment of their own travel and expenses.

5.2  Winner will be bound by the terms imposed by any third parties providing services as part of the prize. Promoter cannot accept responsibility for the acts or omissions of third parties.

5.3  The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value, should those advertised become unavailable for any reason.

5.4  If the Prize includes activity or experience, the winner and any guests may be required to sign a disclaimer before participation in the Prize.

6.  CONDUCT

6.1  We support responsible drinking, and so we require all entrants to a Competition to conduct their entries in accordance with responsible drinking principles and with respect to other social media users. We therefore reserve the right to reject any Competition entry which include or suggests:

  • consumption of alcohol by anyone who is under the legal drinking age (or 18 if lower);
  • excessive consumption, consumption direct from the bottle or any other form of irresponsible drinking;
  • any type of illegal or anti-social behaviour;
  • driving, operating any type of machinery, or engaging in other type of activity that requires concentration to avoid injury in connection with the consumption of alcohol;
  • celebrities or other well known individuals, copyrighted logos, content, trademarks or characters that belong to third parties;
  • offensive gestures; or which could cause offence on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or culture.

We reserve the right to adjust this policy as needed and to entry photos for reasons not stated in this list.

6.2  Competition entrants must not:

  • Share or post Competition posts on their own timeline;
  • Tag other Facebook users without their consent;
  • Tag themselves in others content without their consent; or
  • Interfere with the likes, comments or other valid entries of other users.

7.  MISCELLANEOUS

7.1  By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules.

7.2  We reserve the right to exclude any Competition entries which in our opinion constitute spam, are abusive or which may breach Facebook’s, Twitter’s or Instagram’s rules.

7.3  The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or amend any Competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control (including but without limitation, changes to the Facebook Pages Terms and/or malicious or abusive third party intervention) with no liability to any entrants, the prize winner or any third party.

7.4  By entering the competition the entrants agree the Lifetime Brands Europe Ltd can use and reproduce images and recipes submitted in any  method they see fit.

The decision of Promoter in all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
