8 large frankfurter hot dogs
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp hot sauce
8 large hot dog buns, slightly toasted
2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
Method
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and add the mince, salt and pepper.
- Once the meat has browned, add the kidney beans, Worcester sauce, onion, garlic, chilli powder and fry until the meat has cooked through and the onions are soft.
- Add passata to the pan and add extra Worcester or chilli powder if you feel it needs it, let the pan simmer on a low heat for approximately 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- In the meantime boil the frankfurter hot dogs according to the instructions, (or for approximately 10 minutes)
- Add the hot dog buns to the oven on a low heat.

- Remove the buns from the oven, score down the middle and place the hot dogs inside. Top with chilli and cheese.
- Put the bun back in the oven for 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted, serve and enjoy!
