I purchased this icing deluxe set I've only used it once and the biscuit mixture passed around the withe plastic disc of the piston (the one that should press the mixture) and a part is gone under this...now it's impossible to clean it well!
Some mixture still remain on the other side of the piston because it's impossible to disassemble the piping gun to clean it .
What can I do to resolve this problem?
Thanks

I've just tried the biscuit press for the first time with the recipe linked in the description and the biscuits came out beautifully. The recipe made approx. 4 dozen biscuits which lasted all of 5 minutes before they were demolished. Will definitely be making again!

Me again, I've only just seen that my review has been posted, didn't get an email confirmation. I can't respond to your reply hence a new review. Recipe looks great until I read that the dough is rolled out and shaped with cutters. I'd like a biscuit recipe to use with this biscuit gun. Will the consistency of this dough be ok to go through the biscuit gun? Thanks in advance!

Hi Claire, yes the biscuit gun can be used with dough, apologies for the confusion with the previous recipe - we are currently working on a new recipe for use specifically with this product. We shall email you a copy as soon as it's been tested.

Was looking forward to marketing biscuits but disappointed to find the set doesn't come with a recommended recipe. One has been provided in amazon by another buyer but I have found the recipe to be no good, mixture was too dry and when I added more milk and marg, it doesn't press through the biscuit shape. Can someone help me please!

Hi Claire,
we're sorry to hear your first experience with the icing set wasn't satisfying. We have now added a recipe to our recipe book. You can find the link in the product description.
