I read the above about disassembling the grater for cleaning, but I need an explanation of how to 'first separate the handle from the drum'. I have tried to move the black square bit at the top of the handle (above the drum) but it won't lift, slide or twist, so I can't see any way of removing the handle. Many thanks.

Hi Jill,

To separate the handle from the drum you hold the body of the grater with one hand, and gently pull the handle away from the body of the grater with the other. Its quite simple to do, and shouldn’t worry about breaking the product and the handle is designed to be removed!

I hope this helps!

Requested to kindly inform how to disassemble for cleaning the grater

Thank you for your feedback.

To remove the grater drum from the unit, first separate the handle from the drum. Then open the grater compartment door and remove the drum from the unit. When reassembling the grater, please ensure the handle clicks securely into place.

We hope this helps and if you need any further information, please do let us know.
