Margherita Pizza


400g plain flour 

14g packet dried yeast 

2 tsp sugar 

250ml warm water 

170ml passata 

200g mozzarella, half grated, half chopped

3 tbsp grated parmesan


Heat oven to 240°C. Oil a 18 x 23cm baking tray. Mix the flour, yeast, ¼ tsp salt and the sugar in a bowl, stir in the water. Pull together the mixture and knead until smooth, then press into the oiled tray.

Spread passata over the dough. Season the passata with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with the mozzarella and the Parmesan, and bake for 15-20 mins.
