Ingredients
75g Ready rolled puff pastry
1 tbsp. flour
350g frankfurters
1 egg, lightly beaten
Cheddar cheese slice and black olives to decorate
Tomato ketchup for dipping
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C / fan 180°C / gas mark 6.
Roll out the pastry to 0.5cm thick over a floured surface, and cut into long thin strips about 1-2 strips per frankfurter 0.5cm wide
Wrap around each frankfurter to create a mummy-wrap effect and brush lightly with the beaten egg
Put onto a lined baking tray and bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden, and the sausages cooked through.
Cut out small rounds out of the cheese for the eyes, then top with a small piece of black olive.
