Ingredients
8 Large apples
4 tbsp. honey
100g demerara sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
50g mixed fruit and nuts
100g butter
Method
Core each apple but not completely through
Mix the honey, sugar, butter and mixed nuts and fruit and fill each apple with the mixture
Place the apples on to a non-stick baking tray and sprinkle with the nutmeg and cinnamon
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes until the apples are cooked through
