Ingredients:
500g red seedless grapes
500ml white wine vinegar
3 tbsp sugar
8 sausages
1 (227g) jar of cocktail onions
8 brioche buns
Method:
Place the grapes into a large saucepan with the vinegar and bring up to the boil.
Cook the grapes in the vinegar for 2 minutes, then add the sugar and continue to simmer for 1 minute.
Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool for 10-15 minutes, then carefully transfer into a preserving jar, both the grapes and the cooking liquid.
To make the hot dogs, cook the sauces in a non-stick grill pan until golden and fully cooked.
Add the drained cocktail onions and 2-3 spoonfuls of the pickled grapes.
Cook all the ingredients in the pan for 1 minute to bring all the flavours together, then serve in soft brioche buns.
These grapes will keep in the fridge for up to 4 weeks and are amazing with cheese and cooked meats.
