Ingredients
200g plain flour
100g caster sugar
100g butter
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the decorations
150g milk cooking chocolate
Green writing icing
Red writing icing
Brown writing icing
Method
Pre heat the oven to 180C°
Mix together the flower and sugar along with the butter until you get a breadcrumb consistency.
Add in the beaten egg and vanilla essence to form dough.
Roll out using a rolling pin to roughly 1cm thick and cut out small circles. Once the indents have been made, peel away the excess biscuit dough. Place the small circles onto a lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove, and place on a cooling rack.
Once cooled dip half the biscuit into melted chocolate and replace back onto the cooling rack. Place into the fridge to set. Once the chocolate has set you can pipe the icing to create your Rudolph and Holly biscuits.
