Gingerbread Hot Chocolate


Gingerbread Hot Chocolate


4 ½ tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp sugar
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
480ml milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Whipped Cream (Optional)
2 Cinnamon Sticks
Gingerbread Biscuit to serve


  1. Place the cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract and spices into a medium sized saucepan and mix together.   

  2. Turn the heat on low-medium and then gradually add the milk, whisking as you go, making sure there are no lumps of cocoa powder. 

  3. Bring to a simmer, stirring regularly. 

  4. Split equally into two of your mugs.

  5. Add your whipped cream (optional) and cinnamon stick to the mug.

  6. Dust with cocoa powder.

  7. Serve with a Gingerbread biscuit on the side and enjoy!
