Trying to think of what to get your Mum this Mother's Day? Show her how much you care by creating a unique Home Made gift. Whether that's a planter, home made face masks, cookie dough in a jar (you know she will then probably make the cookies for you anyway) or if you are feeling extra then why not try some edible flower infused gin? All of these great gift ideas are all done using our Home Made jars! See below for all the information you need to create these wonderful loving gifts.

Home Made Face Mask 

Homemade face masks are the perfect present for Mother´s day, she can have a skin care treatment made with love. Combine together all ingredients in a glass terrine jar. Apply in the clean face and leave on for 10-15 minutes before removing with warm water.

Cocoa Mask – Skin-smoothing mask

1 tsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp yoghurt

1 tsp coconut oil


Avocado Mask – Skin hydrating mask

½ avocado

2 tbsp yoghurt

1 tsp honey


Turmeric Mask – Antinflamatory mask

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tbsp yogurt

1 tsp coconut oil


Raspberry Mask – Moisturising mask

½ cup of raspberries

1 tbsp yogurt

2 tsp honey

Homemade Lemon and Mint Scrub

The perfect body scrub your Mum will fall in love with!

Combine together all ingredients in a glass jar. Exfoliate and moisturize your face and body in the shower and remove it with warm water.


200g granulated sugar

50g coconut oil

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh mint leaves


Mix all the ingredients in an airtight glass jar.

Use 1 tablespoon in the shower, scrub all the skin and rinse it.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Get your Mum's favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe ready to bake! Place all the dry ingredients in a jar, print the recipe, add a label and you already have a present for your lovely Mother.



230g flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

250g chocolate chips

150g brown sugar

100g granulated sugar



Preheat the oven to 175 ºC.

Add 160g of butter and 1 egg to the cookie mix.

Mix well all the ingredients.

Make rounded balls of the size of a tablespoon and transfer them to a baking sheet.

Bake them for 10 minutes until golden brown.

Transfer them to a wire rack to completely cool.

Lemon and Edible Flower Gin




50ml Gin

Tonic Water

½ lemon

Angostora Bitters

Edible flowers



Fill a glass up half way with cubed ice.

Juice ½ lemon.

Add the gin

Top with tonic water about 2/3 full.

Add 4-5 drops of angostura bitter

Garnish with edible flowers
