Ingredients
200g onions, chopped
800g apples, cored and chopped
50g sultanas
50g raisins
15g ground coriander
15g chilli flakes
15gh mixed spice
15g salt
300g granulated sugar
400ml malt vinegar
Method:
Put all the ingredients into a pan and slowly bring to the boil until all of the sugar has dissolved.
Simmer for around 2 hours, stirring occasionally to stop the chutney sticking to the pan.
Once thick the chutney is ready.
Spoon into jars, seal and cool.
Store in a cool, dark place for 2-3 months before eating to let the flavours fully develop.
