Strawberry Mille-Feuille


300ml thick whipped cream

1 sheet ready made puff pastry

Icing sugar for dusting

1 punnet of strawberries (about 400g) halved


Pre-heat your oven to 180°C

Using a rolling pin, on a floured surface, roll out the pastry and cut out 3 long rectangles 

Lightly dust a baking tray with flour, lay the strips out and make 6 indents in each strip evenly. Transfer to the oven

Bake for 10 minutes or until the pastry is a light golden colour

Leave to one side to cool

Once cooled, to one pastry strip pipe a layer of cream and top with strawberries, repeat 2 more times.

Add the final pastry strip and dust with icing sugar to your liking
