Tricks for healthier Halloween treats
Whether you're having a big party or just the family this Halloween, it can be tempting to fill up on sugary unhealthy foods. For a healthier halloween we have the below tips for alternatives to all the sweets and chocolates, which are still fun and exciting for your little monsters......

Using Halloween shaped cookie cutters you can make bite sized sandwiches fun! Use healthy fillings with seasonal colours such as tuna and carrot, ham and lettuce. Just take a slice of bread of your choice and gently press the cookie cutter down to cut out the chosen shape, add your filling on top and then do the same for the lid. Decorate with pieces of carrot, red pepper or olives.

These creepy crispy tortilla chips are great with dips and guacamole and are the perfect choice instead of crisps and crackers, all you need is tortilla wraps and some Halloween inspired cookie cutters!

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Spritz a baking tray with low calorie cooking spray. Using the cookie cutters, cut out the shapes from tortillas. Arrange the shapes onto your baking tray. Lightly spritz the tortilla shapes with the cooking spray, and season with a pinch of salt if desired. Bake for about 7-8 minutes until the chips are golden and crispy. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Freaky fruit…..Halved bananas with chocolate chips make for ghostly healthy desserts (Tip: – insert lolly sticks and place in the freezer on a wax paper-covered baking sheet for about 2-3 hours to turn in to yummy lollies).
