Tuna Coconut Curry with Green Chillis


1 onion,finely sliced

1/2 jar thai red curry paste

2 green chillis, finely sliced and seeds removed

2 tuna steaks, cut into smaller chunks

270ml coconut milk

A handful of coriander, chopped

A handful of coriander leaves, for garnish

2 tbsp. fish sauce

1 tsp. sugar

Juice of 1/2 lime


In a large frying pan, fry the onion and chillis for 3 minutes, add the curry paste and fry for a further 2 minutes. 

Add the tuna steaks and fry for 2-3 minutes each side until cooked through.

Once cooked, chop into smaller chunks.

Add the coconut milk, stir and simmer for 3 minutes.

Stir in the fish sauce, sugar, lime juice and chopped coriander.

Simmer for a further 3 minutes and garnish with the remaining coriander to serve.
